Civic Center, also referred to as the City Hall, is a neighborhood in downtown Manhattan which surrounds New York City’s City Hall. Bounded by China Town on the north and the Financial District to the south, the Civic Center neighborhood is between Broadway and the East River. Civic Center is famous for its many architectural landmarks, such as St. Paul's Chapel, the Woolworth Building, the Park Row Building and the Brooklyn Bridge. Older structures are currently being converted into new residential and commercial buildings.
